The recent surge in terrorism in Pakistan can be attributed to several factors. One major reason is the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan in 2021, which led to the Taliban's takeover and the subsequent release of over 1,500 Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants from Afghan jails.
